What is a Roku® Streaming Stick®?
This portable, power-packed player comes with a remote (with TV power and volume buttons). Use it at home—or on-the-go!
Sit back and enjoy the show. The Roku Streaming Stick packs a punch with smooth HD streaming and channels that launch in a snap.
1. Plug it into an outlet.
2. Plug it into HDMI® port on HDTV.
3. Connect to wireless internet.
4. Using the Roku remote, choose the “Vudu channel” and select it. Go to “My Vudu” and select “My Movies” or “My TV” to watch the library’s collection of digital movies and TV shows.

6. Browse and access any of the other free content or channels available on the Roku® Streaming Stick®.
Roku® Streaming Stick® Policy
Roku sticks circulate for 7 days, and may not be renewed. Mineola Library patrons may reserve a Roku stick.
There is a $2.00 per day late fee. A $50 replacement fee will be charged if all 6 components are not returned or any are lost/damaged (includes Roku stick, remote, usb cable, power adapter, instructions, and case).
Must be returned inside the library at the Circulation Desk; no book or media drop box.
Patrons cannot alter any settings (other than Network), or tamper
with the Roku stick in any way. Patrons will be fined $10 if they
change any settings or remove channels on the device.
Patrons cannot purchase movies or add any other content to the Roku.
The Roku kit will be examined upon return and if any damage is
found, charges will be added to the patron’s account.
Roku kits may only be checked out to Mineola Library patrons over
the age of 18, with a Mineola Library card in good standing.
